Teaching ASU students the metal embossing art form of repujado.
Art for a cause
I learned to the craft of repujado—metal embossing—in Mexico. Now I create unique repujado pieces and sell them to raise scholarship funds for DREAMERS. My pieces have been awarded to Dolores Huerta, former Mayor of Los Angeles Antonio Villaraigosa, and diverse academic and civic leaders. More than $5,000 has been raised since 2018.
